This website has been created for the sole purpose of capturing information related to the funeral of Pastor James Phillip and memories related to the life he lived.

Who we are

The website was created by the Phillip family to capture memories, tributes, funeral information in one place for those connected to the family to access and view. Therefore, certain personal information will be collected, used and stored about you. The Data Protection Act (DPA) and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) regulations apply and as such the family are responsible as controller of personal information.

The personal information we collect and use

This website obtains and records consent prior to submission and use of your personal data.


We collect the following personal information that you provide to us when you complete the form in the ‘Share a Tribute’ tab: Name, Location, Email address, Tribute messages (audio, video, text).


Your donations will use secure financial management processes available from third-party providers and we will work with them to ensure your data is protected and made up of what you have submitted.


We will only use your personal information to send you general messages related to the funeral process if we have your consent or a ‘legitimate interest’. We will not share your data with 3rd parties.

Monitoring and Recording

We will be live-streaming and recording the funeral and approving tributes submitted so viewing of the funeral can be had in real-time and post event.


We will limit access to your data to immediate family members who have a genuine need to know and will use technological measures to keep your data secure. The data received will be held for a year online; after which data will be removed and saved for immediate family use. The information that will be retained will be tributes and recording of the funeral only.

You have the right to object to our use of your personal information, or to ask us to delete or remove, restrict the use of your personal information should it be no longer relevant or accurate.
